As you have just read (unless you skipped the "Our Plan" page, shame on you!), our main raw material is pineapple fiber. But where exactly would we get these materials from? Well, these materials could be collected from 

A: the waste we generate, and/or...

Bleaves that are cut off and discarded before then being shipped to the US from Costa Rica.

Doing option B would help us strengthen our relationship with other countries that we would purchase the pineapples from and establish a fair trade.

This process generates very little waste, and would also use solar power to further break down the fiber. One of these bills would then stay in circulation for an estimated 25 months.

Once it reaches the end of its lifespan, the bill can go directly into the ground and composite by itself, or be turned into fertilizer.
